Author Paul Coleman, PsyD, guides you through every chapter with powerful exercises that help you evaluate your current emotional state and how the hardship has impacted your life. With his guidance and insight, you will learn how to transform your pain into positive thinking, find perspective through charitable acts, and hone in on what you need to do to step into a brighter future.

Whether mourning the loss of a romance, health, a loved one, or coping with any of life's upheavals, Finding Peace When Your Heart Is in Pieces will help you overcome your pain and finally find peace within yourself.

Review:
When life gets scary it isn't easy to remain hopeful. But somehow, when reading this book life's challenges don't seem quite so bad. Dr. Coleman claims that while grief is normal and must be "honored" it is still possible to feel at peace and remain hopeful in spite of loss. Our perspective makes all the difference.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I browsed through this book. I'd read numerous books about how to cope with life and often read similar things in all the books, but this book is different. There was something on practically every page that made me stop and think and gave me new insights. I actually started to feel more peaceful just reading it.

I really find this book to be wise and comforting and it will be a book I can return to again and again as I strive to perfect my "heroic heart".
